Trusting
It’s going to be a nice summer weekend that you plan with a friend to go away. You’re waiting on them to come pick you up. The friend calls to inform you they should be there in five minutes. Based on what was stated, you proceed to head downstairs to meet your friend when they arrive. Question: did you see your friend as they were telling you this, or did you just believe what they said as you trust them and acted accordingly? Trust Is the belief in reliability or strength of someone/something. Trust was involved in believing that friend will be there within five minutes without seeing it be a reality yet due to belief in that person reliability.
